 I struggle to breathe

Feeling suffocated 

Left alone in this dark world

Why oh why you gave me hope

Of a future so beautiful with you

Why did you shatter me with those simple words?

When it is much more than that

Why did you make me go blind with everything ?

When you gave me reason to smile

My eyes fell heavy

Sunken down in a hole

Sitting in a corner

I count the seconds tick

I grab my phone

Scrolling through each exchange

Through the watery eyes

I read each

Why oh why you gave me hope !
